Marketing shouldn’t be a solo assignment

This country runs on small businesses.

Corner shops, one-person startups, family operations, people who bet on themselves and built something real. What almost none of them signed up for was becoming a marketer — and yet there they are, running the whole thing alone: the strategist, the designer, the writer, the one trying to figure out what song to dance to on TikTok.

The help does exist. It's just been out of reach. Big agencies are built for big budgets, and most small business owners can't afford them — or can't even tell where to begin with them. So the best guidance, the real strategy, the actual execution stays locked away from the people who need it most.

We started The Jessica Agency to unlock it.

The idea is simple, and a little old-fashioned. Every town used to have a paper — easy to read, useful, written for everyone.

We're that, for marketing.

We bring the kind of in-house direction, education, and execution that usually lives inside expensive agencies, and we put it straight into the hands of the owners and small teams who need it.

Sometimes that means we execute for you. Sometimes we teach you to do it yourself. And sometimes we just help you figure out where to start. And we lean on the tools — AI included — that make small teams faster and sharper, so you can do more with the hands you've got.

You've got backup.

Behind the desk.

The Jessica Agency is led by Jessica Pope — a BS in Marketing, an MBA in Project Management, a Navy veteran, and a marketer with more than ten years in the work: building her own small businesses, serving on internal teams, and most recently directing marketing strategy and execution across an entrepreneur's many ventures.

She's seen marketing from every seat — which is how she noticed the gap. The real guidance, the kind that shapes a brand and drives a business, tends to stay locked inside big agencies and large in-house teams that most owners will never have access to. Meanwhile the people who need marketing the most are figuring it out alone, unsure where to even begin. She built The Jessica Agency to carry that expertise out of the boardroom and hand it directly to them.
